I’ve got too many clothes but never have anything to wear!

Does this phrase sound familiar?

Studies have shown that we only regularly use 20% of the clothes we buy. In other words, 80% of the clothes occupying our closets remain unused most of the time.

On the other hand, according to the EAE Business School, in Spain, the average expenditure per person on clothing and footwear in 2020 was €405.48, and the average household expenditure was €1009.03.

This indicates that a considerable amount of money is currently gathering dust in our home closets. That money is the result of your work, your time, and your effort.

Furthermore, the textile sector is the fourth largest consumer of raw materials and emitter of greenhouse gases after food, housing, and transportation.

At Fashion Redesign, I encourage groups and individuals to adopt clothing usage and consumption habits aligned with the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the Circular Economy Plans of the European Union.

Through experiential learning, talks, and participatory training, I create spaces to promote education on conscious clothing consumption, using a positive, creative, and relevant language for each individual.

I help you dress confidently while being sustainably responsible!

Translated from  Anne Klein’s phrase: “Clothes aren´t going to save the world, the women who wear them will”.
