Purposeful Wedding Dress

When I began the search for my wedding dress, my requirements were very specific: it had to be comfortable, made from natural fabrics, capable of being reused, and also reasonably priced.

After trying on many options and failing to meet my needs, I decided to design it myself.

This is a brief overview of the various processes I followed, from the design and sourcing of materials to the making, fittings, and ultimately the final piece for the big day.

The dress is made from Lyocell (Tencel) and silk, with the pattern and construction carried out in a local workshop. It features my own design, inspired by styles from other designers.
